Description

Here we have a vintage 1979 Ibanez MC300 Musician electric guitar.  Made in Japan.  Neck-thru design.  Gloss finish.  OHSC.  The Ibanez MC300 represents some of the finest work to come from Ibanez in the 1970’s and 1980’s.  Truly an exquisitely crafted instrument.  It features two humbucking pickups, 2- Volume, 2- Tone, and 2- mini toggle switches for coil tapping. This one is in great shape and has just been setup by our technician.  Strung with 10-46’s.   The neck is nice and straight and the truss rod is working perfectly.  The frets are in very good shape with minimal sings of wear. They have plenty of life left in them.  The guitar plays smoothly up and down the fingerboard.   Cosmetically, the guitar is in very good condition.  It has a few bruises, nicks, and marks from general play wear.  The lower horn has what looks like an old fix on the tip.  Some finish fill in.  There are a few dings on the sides. (see photos). There is one small mark on the back of the neck on the bass side behind the 9th fret.  It is minor, but you can feel it. It doesn’t hang you up while playing.  It is overall in very clean shape for its age. She weighs 9lbs 5oz.  Also included is its original triangular shaped hard case.  The case in in great shape as well.  These guitars just sing for days.  Sustain is incredible.  Add this one to your arsenal today. Thanks for looking and happy buying!
