Description

Here we have a vintage Acoustic 136 1×15″ Bass Combo Amplifier.  Made in the 1970’s in the USA.   The Acoustic amps have a place in history all to themselves.  They are a great tone and are reliable.  This one has clearly seen some days. There are tolex rips, tears, peeling, and some scars.   The cabinet is still very solid.  Some glue could make a nice improvement to some of it.  The amplifier is working 100% and sounds great. This 136 is a bass combo but also can work for a clean guitar amplifier too.  It puts out 125 watts as per the internet. There are two channels each with two inputs and controls for Volume, Bass, Treble and a bright switch.  The right side has the power and ground switch.   The original power cord is intact and in good shape.  Not sure if the speaker is original but it sounds good to us.  All in all, it is a workhorse of an amp.  Its big and heavy.  It sounds like the 1970’s bass tone that we love.  It will be available for local pickup only at our shop here in Melville, Long Island NY.   Thanks for looking and happy buying!
