Here we have a pre owned Squier Stratocaster Electric Guitar.  Made in Mexico in 1997.   Fender did produce some Squier guitars in Mexico for a few years in the 90’s.   These are amazing instruments are essentially the same thing as a Mexican Standard Stratocaster.  Same body, same neck, and electronics.   This one is in the classic Olympic White finish.   Traditional Alder body with a bolt- on Maple neck and Rosewood fingerboard.  21- fret neck. Medium size frets.  Classic three single coil pickups with traditional controls for Volume, Tone, and Tone with a 5- way blade switch.  This guitar weighs 7lbs 11oz.  It comes with tremolo arm.
This Strat has been setup with 10-46’s and is playing great.   The neck is straight and the truss rod is working as it should.  Good travel in both directions.  The frets are in very good shape with very minimal signs of wear.   The guitar plays cleanly up and down the fingerboard.
Cosmetically, the guitar is in very good to excellent condition.   There are surface scuffs and a few marks along some of the edges. Typical wear and tear from playing. Nothing major. No dings, major dents, or ganks.   There is a little bit of discoloration on the top bass side of the guitar near the pickguard. It looks like a little bit of the wood underneath is coming through the finish. It likely left the factory that way.   The plastic is still on the pickguard and backplate.  
All in all, these early Squiers are a huge bang for the buck.  You get all the appointments of the Mexican made Fender guitars but for less.  One piece neck, Rosewood board, and a great feel to it.  Add this one to your collection today.  Thanks for looking and happy buying!
