Here we have a pre owned Sandberg California Series VS4 4- string active bass. Made in Germany in 2019. The finish is Soft Aged Metallic Gold with matching headstock. The bass is 34″ scale length. It has an Alder body with a Maple neck. Beautiful dark Ebony fingerboard with abalone dot inlays. 14″ fingerboard radius. Haussel P- pickup with an active 2- band preamp. This bass weighs a beautiful 7lbs 15oz. The bass is strung with 45-100’s and is playing great. The neck is straight and the truss rod is working perfectly. The frets are in great shape with minimal signs of wear. Cosmetically, the bass is in great shape with some marks, scuffs, and small chips. Most noticeably, there is one ding on the front side of the bass on the upper horn. The headstock has some marks and swirl marks on the top. The back of the bass has indents, marks, and some light belt buckle wear. There are dings and small chips by the input jack. The back of the neck is smooth with no marks. Please see all photos for detailed condition. This bass has been played and loved but not abused. Just good old fashioned play wear. The bass comes with its original Sandberg hard/soft case with info sheet. The bag is in good shape with all zippers working nicely. One of the backpack straps was broken and has been tied and secured so it works but it no longer adjusts length. The case is still good to go and will serve you for years to come.
