Here we have a beautiful G&L USA made Custom Order Build JB 4- string electric bass.   This one was constructed in 2023 and was purchased new here at Murphy’s Music.  The bass was traded back in from a loyal customer.   This bass is a bit of a “one off” as it has a rare Pearl Grey gloss finish and a custom “Mocha Satin” tinted neck.   The bass has a solid Alder body, Maple neck and fingerboard.  2- JB alnico pickups, and Volume, Volume, and Tone controls. She weighs a beautiful 8lbs 11oz.  The bass comes with its original G&G deluxe hard shell case, certificate, and build sheet.

The bass has just been setup by our technician and is playing great.  It has been strung with D’addario 45-100’s.   The neck is nice and straight and the truss rod is working perfectly.  The frets are in excellent condition and show very minimal wear.   The bass plays cleanly up and down the fingerboard with no issues.
Cosmetically, the bass is in excellent condition.   There are no major dings or dents.   On the back of the neck, towards the bass side behind the 12th fret there are two slight indents. Looks like it was caused by being leaned up against something.  They are very small and can be felt with your finger but they do not inhibit play whatsoever.   Overall it is in very very clean shape.
