Here we have an incredible Gibson ES-175 hollow body electric guitar.  Made in the USA in 1991.  Factory Ebony finish.   This guitar has a “thing” going on.  An absolute player.   Loved and played but not abused.   Laminated Maple top, back, and sides.  Rosewood fingerboard with Split Parallelogram inlays.   2- Gibson Pat Number embossed PAF pickups with 2- Volume and 2- Tone controls. Rosewood bridge base with a gold Nashville Tune-o-matic bridge and gold tailpiece.   When we received the guitar it has a set of Sperzel tuners on it.  We quickly removed those and installed a set of TonePros Kluson style tuning machines.  There is a photo of the back of the headstock so you can see the extra pin holes from where the Sperzels were.  Other than the tuner change the guitar is all stock.   This guitar weighs 7lbs 12oz.  It includes its original brown Gibson USA hard case.  The case is pretty beat. It has open seams. and a couple of broken latches.  The combination latch has been removed from the upper portion.  It could be reattached if need be.  Cool to have but we would opt for a better case for transporting it. 
This ES-175 has just been setup by our technician and is playing extremely well.  Strung with 11 round wounds.  The neck is straight and the truss rod is working nicely.  The frets are in great shape. We did a light level on them to make sure everything was good to go.  The guitar plays cleanly up and down the fingerboard with no issues.  The sound is fantastic.   
Cosmetically, the guitar is in very good condition.  There are no structural issues or cracks.  The lacquer finish has vertical checking on all sides of the instrument.  It has marks, nicks, scuffs, and swirls.  The back of the guitar has some finish checking and worming.  The back of the neck is smooth for the most part with no idents.  There is some finish wear on the bass side at the 1st and 2nd fret and on the treble side at the first fret.  The top of the headstock has some nicks.   The headstock face has typical wear on the edges.  The gold hardware has a good amount of tarnish and wear.    This guitar has been played and enjoyed.  It is the perfect player instrument.  
If you are looking for a wonderful hollow body guitar, there is nothing quite like an ES-175.  This 1991 example is a dream to play.  The sound acoustically is a delight and when you plug it in, its even better.  The pickups sound full and aren’t harsh.  A great ES-175 around.  Thanks for looking and happy buying!
