Here we have a pre owned Gibson Derek Trucks Model SG- 50th Anniversary.  Made in the USA in 2011.   This guitar has the special 50th Anniversary headstock overlay.  Classic SG style with non functioning Lyre tailpiece, just like his.   This guitar has a Mahogany body and neck with a Rosewood fingerboard.  Slim Taper neck profile.  2- 57 Classic humbucking pickups.  Traditional 2- Volume and 2- Tone controls.  3- way toggle switch.  Gibson Deluxe vintage style tuning machines to keep things in check.  This guitar weighs in at a beautiful 7lbs .3oz.  It comes with its original hard shell case.
This SG has just been setup with 10-46’s and is playing amazingly well.  The neck is nice and straight and the truss rod is working perfectly with good travel in both directions.  The frets are in great shape.  We did a light level to make sure everything was good to go.  The guitar plays cleanly up and down the fingerboard with no issues.  
Cosmetically, this guitar is in very good condition.  There are no breaks or repairs.  There are some marks, scuffs, and small indents on the finish.  The top of the headstock has a few light marks.  The back of the neck has a couple of small indents.  You can feel them when you run your finger over them but they do not hang you up while you play.  Very minor.   General pick swirls and surface marks.  Overall in very good condition.   
All in all, this Derek Trucks SG is a great player.  Amazing looks and classic SG sound.  The fact that its a 50th Anniversary is even better!  Add this one to your collection today. Thanks for looking and happy buying!
