We are super proud to be able to offer this amazing vintage 1958 Fender Tweed Champ “Narrow Panel” 1×8″ tube guitar combo amplifier.  Serial number C06672. Letter code is HB giving it a birth date of Feb of 1958. This amazing amp puts out around 4 watts  through a single 8″ speaker.  It is one of the best recording amps known to man. It currently has a Kendrick speaker in it but the original Oxford speaker is included (could use a re-cone) Dates to the 2nd week of 1958. This one has its original power transformer. Output transformer looks to have been changed. As you can see from the photos, it has been serviced and had the caps replaced as needed.  The amp is in very nice condition.  The tweed has some wear at the bottom corners but overall clean shape.  The handle looks original.  It is loaded with some nice tubes.  It has a Phillips Miniwatt 12AX7, an Bendix JAN CEA 6V6, and a Tung Sol 5Y3 rectifier.  It has a 2- prong plug on it with a long cable. The amplifier also includes a Le Cover aftermarket cover.    Even has its original piece of tape on the inside of the chassis with the builders name. All in all, this Champ is ready to rock.  It is quite inspiring to play through.  Sometimes you just need to keep it simple.
